Trewarveneth Studios

Trewarveneth has been used as artists’ studios since 1967. Although this seems like a short time compared to Anchor and Porthmeor, it actually makes it one of the older studio complexes in the country.

As a late Victorian school building, it benefits from very high ceilings and large windows, providing light and airy working spaces. Much of the building has wood block parquet flooring, and there is a very unusual floor in the old school washroom consisting of slates laid on edge.
